Dr Sanaa Abbas has been teaching Arabic Language, Culture and Translation since 2013 at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi. She also taught language, Arabic literature and translation for many years at the French universities of Lyon II and Lyon III. She holds a doctorate in linguistics from the University of Lyon II in France, and several master's degrees in translation, French literature, Arabic literature and lexicography. She won fourth place in France in the national educational competition "Agrégation" for university education.
